A tool that will count words for you as you type? For instance, I may jump around here and there within the story and write different sections of it at different times. That makes it hard (sometimes impossible) to keep up with what I did each day unless I take the time to write it down before I move along.
Not that it's a big problem, but when you write until 1 am, you just want to go crash, not figure out the day's count. Wow, lazy, right?
My favorite Nano tool is my favorite tool for all of my writing, other than Word: OneNote! I LOVE Microsoft's OneNote, which apparently only comes with the home and student edition, not the professional edition. That's a shame. It's incredible.
