I don't suffer from that, but I can see how it can happen due to stress or the tension of expectation, something like the stage fright.
Since you voiced it, I bet you'll sail along beautifully this year.
Did you try jotting down the plot points of the first chapter? Plot points are not the actual writing, but they could help pushing the writing along.
