It worked for me, last year, to write two hours after everyone went to bed and/or early in the morning.
I won't do it like that this year, since I've had some eye problems and lack of sleep makes them worse. So it will be any time I find time.
Work and family leave little time for anything else. So it is a good idea to walk around with a pad and paper or something we can record the story to type up later.
But however you decide to manage your time, try not to feel apprehensive. Feeling bad about something may hinder the progress. Whatever we do is whatever we do, and any writing we can do is a plus. We'll have the rest of the year to finish it.
