Glad to see you are NaNo-ing along with the rest of us crazies! Okay, I know you are a teacher... but NO, you aren't during NaNo, okay? Write in 1st person for a sentence or two (or paragraph or chapter) if thats what it takes to get the word count out! Remember, as they say, December is for revising. I guess for you to shut off your internal editor might take a bit more effort than for someone who doesn't teach - as this is what you do for a living.... but you have to. you have to, I say. LOL.

Do you get your students involved in the Young Writers Program? We have a charter school here (alternative to our once-good, now-sucky high school), and they are looking at having it in the curriculum next year! Woo Hoo!
