The WDC NanoLounge

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm not really discouraged - it's still only day 2 here where I am - close to day 3 - & I don't yet know my word count. I had to start out writing by literally putting pen to paper, & I've not yet had the opportunity to enter it all onto my 'puter. Still, I do know it's not a lot (it's only about 2 or 3 pages handwritten), but I know that I've only just begun & that there're still many days left to go.

When I was a NaNoWriMo participant 5 years ago (the only other time I've been able to do this), I went over my personal goal of 75,000 words &, of course, won. I did have a better start then, but I'm not giving up hope after only 2 days. Still, it's wonderful to read encouragement like yours - thank-you again! :)
