Hello, everyone! I got started on my project early this morning. And in a little over five hours, was able to come up with just under 4,000 words, all of them setting the stage for the main plot line. Hopefully that is a good omen! Last year, I made the 50K word goal; unfortunately, that story is still not finished (I keep coming up with ideas!). So this time around, I have a dual goal -- get to the 50K words AND get the blasted thing finished in November! My main plot line: After several months of dating, a man and woman end up revealing to each other various things they had not discussed before (which the reader will learn about in flashbacks). It should hopefully be interesting, and compelling. To quote the late, great Jackie Gleason... "And away we go!" |
