Hi, well I think I'm doing ok. This is the third day. I am behind because I only have one hand at the moment. I had surgery a week ago on my right hand.
As for my story, it is odd because I only had the vaguest idea what it would be about. When I sat down, it seemed to write itself. My story is set in 1830's just after the Trail of Tears. The heroine and hero are a young Cherokee girl and a Jack Russell Terrier she finds lost in the woods. She names him Wheezer.
This will be a mystery, the solving of a crime that no one knows has happened with the back drop of life just after the tribe arrived on their reservation.
Is anyone out there writing a Native American story for NaNo? I would love to hear about it. Any Cherokee out there? Kitty
