Hello - it's my first one too. What a week! I had to give up early last night as I'd fallen out of love with one of my characters and was too tired to try and work out why. I think I worked it out this morning when I woke up - his motives weren't credible so I've been having a rethink this morning while doing the housework.

The teams are part of the internal 'sponsorship' programme that is running on here. If you visit "NaNoWriMo Write-A-Thon Group" you'll see all the teams that are competing. I think (may be wrong) that it's too late to sign up for a team, but I think you can still sponsor someone.
