That's all I have been writing. *Laugh* My MC is finding out about the betrayal(s) (real or misunderstood) by all the people she loves.
No, emotional scenes don't bother me once I stop writing, but I guess, it might happen if you care too much about your characters. On the other hand, you should feel something, or else, you won't be able to make their feelings sound real.
I heard this happens to actors; they say they feel like their role-characters and sometimes they end up acting like them in real life.
