The WDC NanoLounge

My writing space is kind of varied this year. My mom is in a skilled nursing unit right now so I visit her often. I take a notebook and pen with me and write while she sleeps or is doing her physical therapy. It's a wonderful place to write because I don't have the distraction of the internet.

Then I go home and enter my words into my desk top. I can flesh out my story while I type. I listen to my MP3, anything that enhances the mood of my piece, this year it is the LOTR soundtracks.
While in town today, (shhhh, don't tell anyone I wasn't writing!) I found a fall clearance aisle in a local Walgreen's. I bought three large jar candles for a pittance! One of the spicy treats is burning now. When I get stuck I'll gaze into the flame for a bit and usually my words will come back to me.
