Less than a week into NaNo and I've encountered a big problem. Writer's block, although bad, isn't it. It's my parents, they've decided that NaNo is a waste of my time so I'm not allowed to do it anymore. I have to say I wasn't expecting them to react to NaNo like that. They know I like to write but I think NaNo told them just how much I like to write.
So now I either have to quit NaNo or do it behind my parents backs. What should I do?

Also, with my mild dyslexia they were very surprised that writing is fun for me at all.
