I wrote a paltry 757 words tonight. Usually, I would consider that a warm-up, and a mediocre one at that. But this marathon week I've pulled, in spite of all odds and obstacles, has taken its toll. So...
I'm going to take a night off. I'm NOT going to whine about "writer's block;" I don't believe in it and it's not the issue here. But I'm going to peruse what else is out there and just enjoy being a reader for the night, rather than burning myself out to the point where it drains all of the joy out of my second favorite pasttime.
