Last year, I typed almost all of it, except for the few times I went to write-ins and didn't have access to a laptop. This year, my book refused to be written any other way than by hand. I was a tad bit irked because I bought a Netbook this year almost specifically for NaNo and write-ins. lol I am finding that I edit as I type it into the computer, but I'm not seeing that as a terrible thing. Usually, I fix an awkward sentence or take out a redundant word here and there. Other than that, I transcribe it as written. Though, I did fix a spot yesterday where I noticed I contradicted myself in the next chapter. ![]() The only major problem I'm running into is I write painfully slow by hand. What I can write by hand in 30-45 min, I can type easily within 15 without even trying. *sigh* Just think of it. A double word count amount if I was typing. That would put me right on target for the month. Oh, well. I'm enjoying the hand writing process. Now, to get writing more so I'll be semi-close when I'm forced to switch to the computer at the end of the month. ![]() Erin NaNo 2010 book: "Invalid Item" ![]() ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** I'm also a happy member of "Invalid Item" ![]() |
