Hi there! It's so great to look at the Nano'er List and see all of the winners. It's terrific!! Congrats to everyone who has managed to pass that 50K mark. To those of you who are way past that? Well... Yeah. See how you are? You all are AWESOME!!

Last night, I was blindsided by an awesome idea that I feel absolutely MUST be included in my novel. While I'm pretty sure a last minute win is out of the question (I need almost 20K words), I can definitely get my word count a little higher. It's all good in the end, especially since I'm planning on finishing the book no matter what.

I just wanted to check in with everyone and cheer you on. I'm sure there are a TON of people who are within sneezing distance of a win. Go, go, go!! You can do it.

Now, I'm off to do my "final" round of NaNo writing and see how far I get.

P.S. My little guy is semi-healthy. The strep throat is under control, though he decided several of us would do better in life if we had his cold. I wish he hadn't been so thoughtful in sharing that. All in all, though, we're doing good again. Yay!! *traipsing off to go write*
