The poem that you wrote touched my heart in such a huge way. I have made the same journey and continue to on a daily basis. You put your words together so beautifully. I think that your theme followed throughout your writing. I am not an expert in syntax, but perhaps splitting the larger main body of the writing would allow it to flow better. I think the question that many writers, especially with a particularly passionate fierceness to our poems will forever be asking the question: How can we be, all at once; lost and found, trapped and free.
I know I struggle with this daily, especially with my words, and if I can't find the time I need to get them out and on paper. Keep writing, your writing is beautiful!
