Hey brantws! Welcome to Writing.Com, the best online community of writer's out there!  I'm a fiction writer, but I use fact, history, truth, etc. in my stories. I think it's fantastic that other writers are researching and trying to create an accurate book which has something to say. I must admit I tire of unoriginal fantasies and writers who can't be bothered researching – so they make a world of their own where anything can happen. I think a certain percentage of the skill of writing a book lies in research and accumulating accurate facts, but that is just my opinion. I congratulate you! There is little I can offer you to help out in your research, but I know of a lot of great writing tips to be found all around WDC. If you would like me to send you some links, I'm happy to email them to you.
