Writing.Com General Discussion

Hi all, I am new to the site and am still looking around to see what all is available here. My portfolio is empty at the moment as I am still learning about this site. I like to write fanfiction, fantasy, some science fiction, poetry, and other things as well. I will post something in my portfolio as soon as I can so you all can see some of my writing.

I do have a question though. I have a book I am working on getting self published and it includes a collection of ten poems. Would this count in the portfolio as one item or ten? I have a free membership so am limited to only ten items. If it counts as ten, can I just post one or two poems from it and then inform others where they can view the rest? I belong to other writing websites and so would like to know where I can invite others to view some of my writing that I can't include here due to item limit in the portfolio. Thanks all.
