Thanks for replying.......I never considered changing the largest portion, as it is working! I think it is just the first chapter, the intro really, that bothers me. It is that I cannot find a way to make my plot tie into the idea that I started out with. Maybe I am trying too hard... perhaps it will come to me later down the road. If not, I will redo the first chapter to make it fit with the rest?! It is the ungluing concept that I worry about! I have deleted, rewriiten a few sentences, but these changes, of course, did not change the overall idea, and I think I will just give it time, and see where my characters lead me before I recreate the intro! It does sound so backwards!
