I agree with Maryann. The movie is fun! While Orlando and Kiera aren't in it, there are other recurring characters. The storyline has enough flow from the previous three to work well and it is set up for a 5th. (Rumor has it that Disney sees major dollar signs from the franchise and wants to get a new Pirates out quickly, Johnny has nixed that saying he doesn't want to saturate the market and put out bad product. Good for him!)

My one word of advice--I saw it twice, once in 2D and once in 3D. There are some cool effects in the 3D version but not really enough to warrant the extra dollars spent.
