The WDC NanoLounge

Hello my fellow NANOers. Last year I participated in my very first NANO and even though I did not get to the 50,000 word mark by the end of November 2010, I kept going and finally finished it. While I was perfecting it, a publisher saw some of my work and asked to see my novel. I submitted it and was given a contract for my book, "Wheezer And The Painted Frog" a Native American historical fiction mystery. Today is the day of its publication and you will be able to first find it on Amazon.com. I write under the name Kitty Sutton. I will be NANOing this year again as I work on the second book in the series.

So all of you unpublished authors out there, remember that NANO can launch you into publication, so don't give up and keep going even if you don't make the 50,000 word mark. Kitty
