December 1st is the first day of editing, but if you are using a program that inserts the squiggly red line under misspelled words, you can always spell check while your thinking. Both to check spelling and to add original words to the dictionary to stop that squiggly red line from showing up all over.

On December 1st or later, try reading the story aloud to try to catch the worst of your grammar mistakes. I'm a word dropper.
