Because I am already halfway through my novel and it took me eight months to get there, my NaNoWriMo challenge is trying to finish the other half by the end of November. Before NaNoWriMo I had 43,670 words. Now I have 45,532 words. I'm not seeking to reach the 50,000 mark-more like a 90,000 mark. That way, my word count challenge is 50,000 words as well as everyone else on NaNoWriMo. I'm not in the challenge to win, just to give myself an extra push to finish my first draft of my book.

I've posted my work on WDC before and got some pretty good critical responses. I didn't want to leave it up too long because it's a very dear project to me, and I'm constantly changing/editing little bits of it every day.
