Thank you all for your comments! You all made me feel so much better. My goal is to finish the novel no matter how many words it is. I hoping for over 50K. I did outline for 2 months and still once I got to writing it has changed a little. I don't care it is a good story. I am trying for 2,000 a day or close to it. I write before work and and lunch and sometimes I squeeze in a few words before bed. I want to stay ahead in case there is a day I won't be able to do it. You all have inspired me to kick that little green man off the shoulder and look at those below me and hope that they look at my numbers and set a goal to pass me.
I am running with the pack not falling behind and now that is what I am proud of! I can't wait to get done and get someone to read the plot so I can start editing it.
