I am writing my NaNo project here on WDC. I recently checked the word count for an entry with the feature provided here. Then I copy and pasted the entry into MSWord to use the spellcheck feature to correct a lot of misspellings that had been the result of a Word War and my poor typing. I decided to verify my word count there . . . there was a big difference.

WDC count was about 1450.
MSWord count was about 1650

Quite a difference to me.
