Problem:
The refering URL statistics consider equivalent URL as being different.

Suggestion:
You could make the host part of the referring URL lower case before saving it into the database. On one of my stats pages, both listed URLs appear. They refer to the same page, thus the stat would be more accurate if their visit reference statistics were summed up.
