There's a huge potential for mis-use, mis-trust and other bad things which is why I set it up the way it is. In chat you can't "mouse-over" to confirm someone is who you'd expect. As such, if we let people use handles or set their chat name, they could be anyone they wanted to be. You'd never know who was who or have any reasonable amount of trust you were talking to who you thought you were. Even if we used handles, someone could set their handle to "Jace", log into chat as "Jace" and then quickly change their on-site handle back. Since they were logged into chat as Jace, that's how they'd stay. You could end up with 10 people in there all claiming to be you. Best wishes, ~~SM  ![Merit Badge in Inner Strength
