A warm welcome to our newbies; come meet new and not-so-new members of Writing.Com! |
Yumi, Posting your work here in the forum is not the best way to get feedback from other members of Writing.Com. Here is a good example of how the feedback system here on Writing.Com works: I wrote this item for a contest:
Here is one of the reviews I received for it: Review of "There is no Prince Charming . . ." ![]() I really appreciated the feedback this member gave me. If I pay attention to it and apply her suggestions, I can improve my future writing. It isn't against the rules to post your paragraphs here but it is not making the best use of this site. On the other forum, Nosferette ![]() "You need to turn these paragraphs into a static item in your portfolio and then link that on "The Shameless "Plug" Page" ![]() This is similar to what I had told you in an email. The page I suggested you use (after you put these paragraphs into a static item) was "Please Review" ![]() The items you create in your port do not need to be finished works. You can put your paragraphs in a static item and get feedback and then use that feedback to edit those items and improve them. This is the BEST WAY for you to get the kind of feedback that will help you improve as a writer and to become an active member of this community. Write me and let me know when you have put these paragraphs into a static item in your port and I will be one of the first to give you a review! I am not a fiction writer and so my feedback will not likely be the best that you will get but I will give you some concrete feedback IF you choose to put these paragraphs in a Static Item in your port. Then you could also send a link for your story to R.C. ![]() ![]() I really hope you will do that! Write On! "rambling ruwth's reviews" ![]() ![]() ARTICLE REVIEWS! Want a constructive review of an article in your port? Post request here! |
