Noticing Newbies

Hi everyone,
I am new to this site. I heard this site was great for improving my writing abilities, which is precisely what I want to do. I want to become a published author. I know that my writing needs to improve and I believe I have a hit point where it requires others too truly size up my abilities and discover what needs to be improved. I am opened to any suggestions for starting on Writing.com. Thank you to those who created this site and allowed us writers the privilege of forming friendships that can increase our writing ability.

I do have some experience writing. I am not a complete newbie as a writer, but in my opinion I have not reached great writing, which is what I strive for. Any and all constructive criticism is welcome. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.
