Noticing Newbies

Hi, Steve! My name is Michelle and I, too, am new to Writing.com. You're message thread caught my attention because I also have several children. Five to be exact, though I did raise one nephew and consider him one of my own, too. My kids are between the ages of 16 and 4, my nephew is 24.

I also enjoy cruising. The kids and I leave on our 2nd to the Bahamas in late May. I would love to cruise to Europe someday.

I have one completed manuscript, a juvenile fantasy, and am working on a second coming of age story that I envision as more literary, but with a young protagonist. I also write a writing/book blog at http://www.michelle-lowery-combs.blogspot.com. Where I talk about the writing life, the publishing industry, books, authors, and general foolishness from my life.
