Noticing Newbies

well hi to anyone who's reading, if you haven't guessed I'm new. Well I guess I should introduce myself to the community, so here I go.

My handle is Sage Hana, I'm 19 years old and have never really written anything much other then poetry in the past. I'm not here for help with that I'm actually attempting a story, well more of a novel but I'm not very confident in my skill so I have come here in hopes of getting feedback, I only am one chapter in and working on the second at the moment.

Anyway about me, lets see, my hobbies are collecting card games like yugioh and magic the gathering and occasionally playing. I also like writing poems and reading crime novels, my favorite author is John Sandford.

My favorite food would have to be Fish, any fish shellfish included but not shark I would never eat shark that is just cruel. My favorite sweet would have to be gummy bears, you can't beat a three pound bag of gummy bears, that my friends is heaven.

I have am here to improve my writing and to get motivated to write more and with better quality, so stop by and review my work. It will be greatly appreciated if you would even if you don't like my writing any advice would help.
