Actually, I'm from California! I've spent the past year living in Thailand though, working as a volunteer. And yes. The food is INCREDIBLE here, not to mention the Thai milk tea. Mmmm.... *Smile*

I haven't read the series yet, but -- I will have lots of reading to catch up on when I get back to the states. I will definitely check the books out!
