He raised his eyebrows at me, squirming around in excitement. “Leah, I want to let you go. But I can’t if you don’t cooperate.”
I pushed my lip out into a pout. “But these ropes are hurting my wrists.”
His expression hardened. “Just remember. This is my job.” He raised a lethal-looking weapon to my head.
I sighed. “Are we seriously doing this again?”
