I think it would be really cool to donate to contests - anonymously even if it does not have a bank.

It would be cool if you had an option that allows people to donate to the item type of contest by entering that contest item number in the Gift points tool. I understand that the points would still go to the person holding the contest however it would tie the points to the contest or at least state that the points came in from the "contest item".

I do not know how much work this would involve in programming on your side -- but that would be a really cool addition for the people who hold contests.

Sometimes you want to give points to that contest and you do not want the possibility that it will effect the judges decision should you decide to enter. Or you want to support something and decide against entering at that time.
