So, let me ask you a question to try to distill it down: Who hurts the most through the story? That is most often your protagonist. If the others simply hurt some, you might try giving the spotlight to the one who has the most to lose.

[I did assume by Day 28 you are taking an extra bonus to do character building. Way to go.]
