This is horrible, but it happens more times than we will ever know. Maybe not the same thing, coffee in the IV, but it is happening more and more. Prayers go out to the family and the hospital that is about to get to pay this bill and we wonder why the cost of health care is going through the roof, to cover these kinds of mistakes. There is no excuse for this kind of incident or mistake as she chooses to call it.
