Hello my perspicacious poets! Yeah, I know I'm using big words... LOL. One of my favorite things about writing poetry is using my thesaurus and learning new words. Of course, I am over all a language freak. I am fluent in 2 languages and know bits and pieces of several others. When it comes to poetry, do you take time to research out your words? I have a challenge for you, and I will give you until 11:59pm WDC time on July 4th to write me a poem about Independence. It doesn't have to be very long. In fact, I would prefer it to be short. Now, one more element to this challenge... Use as much alliteration as possible. See this poem, "Invalid Item" . I promise you will get a big laugh! I need at least three people to enter and I will give out some gps. How many depends on the number of entries. Bonus: Look up what the word "perspicacious" means! You will get 100 gps no matter what if you post the meaning as a reply to this post. This will be my last challenge for now. Our new Poetry Professor will take over. He will offer challenges to help you learn, but not necessarily earn you gp's. We'll chat about that later. *Bowing graciously*...
