Considering that when that system is in place, it attaches the link to EVERY copy/paste, and that a lot of the copying done here is multiple snippets for the purpose of writing a review, IMO it would get very annoying.

When I want a link to go with a copy/paste, I also copy/paste the info in the browser address bar. I don't type it out.
