Noticing Newbies

Hey! I'm pleased to make your acquaintance. I write under the name J. Rolsson, but if you prefer you can call me J.R.

Over the past few years I have encountered a brick wall of self-doubt and criticism whenever I put pen to paper - or fingers on the keyboard, if you will - and I want to change that. Whenever I'm not throttling my muse into silence or deleting nine out of every ten sentences I write, I enjoy writing fantasy and science-fiction, with occasional forays into mystery, drama, and beyond.

I hope to get involved in the community here on WDC so I'll have an incentive to share what I've written instead of hiding it or deleting it. Over the next few days I hope I'll get some time to write a short story or two to get started. I look forward to meeting and writing with all of you!
