Noticing Newbies

Hi,

My name is Leanne but for some strange reason Gorrigan has stuck as a username since I was a teenager. I've always been an avid reader/writer and used to dream when I was younger about being an author. Unfortunately then life caught up and, as an adult, you have to find a way to pay the bills. So by day I work in IT and by night/lunch hour/whenever I like to write.

I really struggle with subplots and dialogue. My brain hurts when trying to weave subplots in and out of the main plot and dialogue tends to sound very Yorkshire (which is where I'm originally from).

I'm hoping to make some new friends on here and to learn a lot about writing and it's artform.
