Hi Leanne! Aisha gave some good advice. To add to that, I want to encourage you to continue reading. Reading can play an intricate role in the development of your writing skills, vocabulary and speech. I concur when you underscored that being an adult can sometimes take one of course. As a result, I advise you to stay focus and become a book worm. In my experience, I was employed full-time and had to pay bills as well. But I kept my eye on the prize, and read many novels. Novels can assist you with writing style, dialogue and crafting of plot. It would also be to your advantage to become apart of a book club. I am apart of Random House Reader's Circle and The Ya book Club. Being apart of them can amplify your reading taste in books, and broaden your knowledge in various generes. My advice to you is to stay focus and learn all you can. Additionally, keep a journal handy and do lots of freewriting recording your thoughts and feelings. On a positive note concentrate on your strenghts, this will enable you to form friendships with others and naturally gain all the assistance along the way. Best of luck and stay positive! |
