Could a story without conflict work?
In your opinion, do you think a book could be written, without conflict, and still capture the readers attention and keep them hooked? I know everyone enjoys an antagonist or a plot twist, but what if neither existed in a book? You pick up a book, read the short synopisis , and become intrigued. You take it home, and start reading. You fall in love with the characters, the setting, the plot. But you realise half way through, there is no conflict and will be none. Just the character's growth. Would you put the book down and never finish it? Or would you continue reading?
