Hi Christina. Welcome to WDC.com. I’m pleased to meet you. We're so glad to have you join us. I'm a formalist poet and have been a member here for five years. I've made some good friends since joining and I'm sure you will too. Like you, I used to write because it was a way of expressing my feelings, but life got in the way and I "put my pen down" and 25 years passed before I began writing again. It has been 15 years since I picked my pen back up and I have never been more satisfied. This is a wonderful haven for writers of all genres and the members and staff are friendly and helpful. There are a lot of groups that are very helpful in getting Newbies oriented to the site. Some of these groups also hold courses/workshops in different styles of writing if you're interested.
