October Novel Prep Challenge

This was quite an eye-opening exercise. I thought, five days ago, that I was working on a young adult novel as my protagonist journeyed through his story; however, last night and this morning, I find that he needs to be an adult looking back on what has happened as he searches for his family. The story has taken a direct left (or right) turn.
