I'm dying here...

I've been attempting to work on my Protagonist Profile (Oct. 3) for days now. I am having the most difficult time getting to know my main character. I only recently came up with the idea for my Nano novel. I haven't had the chance to figure out who is who. I don't even know where the story is going to take place. So I'm trying to interview my protagonist and she is remaining tight-lipped. ARGH!!! She is killing me!
