Also, the reason I hated SG-1 was because they decided the Egyptian gods were evil and the Norse gods were good. Not that the Norse gods were evil, but the Vikings were a FAR MORE violent culture. A lot more evidence of human sacrifice. Also, making Anubis and big bad is a lot like making Hades a big bad. Anyone associated with death or the underworld is always equated with Satan and that bothers me.
