Goldlist Method: http://huliganov.tv/goldlist-eu/ I find this a rather tedious read, as he insists on stopping to explain the theory behind each step. However, the method itself is pretty useful. I'm doing all my vocab lists in kana, but he does suggest a way of using the method with kanji. (Which boils down to "don't get hung up on cramming 30 kanji onto each page", but he says it in a much more long-winded way.) I find that 20 minutes language study and 30 minutes writing make for a good combination. Ten minutes rest (or two 5-minute rests) and go again, for as long as you have hours available.
