That's a really good point, though. Like when you're swimming and you need breath and can't find the surface for a moment- when you finally break through you have that breathless gasping moment (or a few). Having that experience reminds us how to ground it into something useful and pass that on to the readers.

If only I weren't so accident-prone. Maybe there's a reason I don't do murder scenes often.
