October Novel Prep Challenge

I have my grandchildren, raised in Maryland and Korea, military family. I wanted them to sound like themselves, but dont' know them, and mom rarely even lets me talk to them. Usually a 'Hi Nana' is all I hear.

My other main characters are Selkies, so they talk with Irish accent, but old country not modern slang.

Ive spent a lot of time on the net googling about this, searching for how to write an accent for the Selkies.
