I get this problem all the time. I'm yet to finish a single book - its really quite frustrating. (That's why I joined WDC to get some more motivation to complete things).

But yeah. When you have an abundance of Ideas its best to lay with the best ones and see if you can fit some of them together in an exciting way then pick and pursue one are two projects at a time.

My current tactic is to pick one main story to write all the way through and keep going back to that one, while my second story constantly changes as I get new ideas. Always note down the coolest ones and see if you can devise a main plan for them that sounds interesting. If not file them away for later combining and improvement. The trick is to ensure that while I'm spinning all these other ideas around I'm still always going back to that one main thing - until I've finally finished it.
