Point Of View

I'm currently writing a novel in 1st person with the occasional 3rd person scene (but keeping it to a minimum) and a bunch of short stories in 3rd person.

Does anyone have a trick to keeping it straight? I just had to completely re-POV a 2700 word chapter (which wasn't all that bad, but still...).
